Maria Fousteri

“Light is like love: its source is not always visible, yet it radiates, filling the space and touching everything around it.”

Maria Fousteri is an Interior Architecture Designer and a second-year Master’s student in Lighting Design at Aalborg University Copenhagen. She is particularly interested in exploring how to create a balance between light and darkness, treating each with its own unique dynamics.

At Edekο Lighting Studio, her work focuses primarily on architectural lighting for residential and commercial projects, while she also pursues more artistic opportunities, such as theatre lighting, whenever possible.
