Nasia Lazou

“There is beauty and simplicity in natural light, which I try to bring into my work.”

 

Nasia Lazou is a graduate of the Theatre Department at the School of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she specialised in theatre lighting. She also holds a Master’s degree in Lighting Design from Edinburgh Napier University. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in how light shapes both atmosphere and narrative, a focus that continues to guide her work today.

At Edeko Lighting Studio, she contributes technical precision and creative insight, supporting projects that range from intimate performances to landmark productions. Since joining us in 2022, she has collaborated with Eleftheria Deko on numerous large-scale stage productions, including projects for the Athens Epidaurus Festival, Greek National Opera, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, etc.
